All SmarterPaw products use natural, pet-safe ingredients — no additives, no artificial anything. Catnip and silvervine are safe for cats; Juananip is safe for dogs. Always supervise pets during play and consult your vet if your pet has specific health conditions.
Not every pet responds the same way. About 50–75% of cats are genetically wired to react to catnip, and kittens under 6 months rarely respond at all. For dogs, some simply aren't as reactive as others. Try squeezing or crumbling the product to release more scent — or try a different blend.
For loose catnip or Juananip, sprinkle a small pinch on a toy, scratching post, or play area. For refillable toys, open the side pocket, add a pinch of your preferred blend, and close it up. Refresh whenever your pet loses interest.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place — the freezer works great for preserving potency. If your product has lost its scent, it's time to replace it.

Premium catnip buds that most customers said their cats "go nuts" for. Highly potent with strong scent - "much stronger than the stuff I buy in Publix." Comes in secure jar packaging. However, some noted hard wood bits/stems requiring sifting, a few cats showed no interest, and price concerns. Mixed customer service feedback on replacements.
Looks nice, doesn't really have a catnip smell. Zero interest in any way from my one year old boy. He's still very energetic, but nothing I do with this stuff makes him want it. Nothing I put it on makes him want it. He, in fact, avoids it. Along with the lollies I bought, I wasted thirty bucks.
I have 3 very picky cats! I have tried other cat nips and they never had an interest in any of them! My cats didn't like this catnip. I sent an email trying to get a replacement but I got no response. I ended up giving both jars to my sister. A little disappointed I couldn't get something in place of it and that no one acknowledged my email. This stuff isn't cheap.
My two kitties did not pay any attention to most of the catnip I've offered them, until they got a whiff of this! They go nuts over it! They eat it and then start rolling around and chasing each other through the house. Very entertaining for all!

I could not wait for this jar to arrive. Our two cats love catnip, the fresh we grow ourselves in season and even mediocre catnip that comes with cat toys.
I am confused. They had no interest in it whatsoever. I have tried breaking it up, leaving it as a whole stick/bud thinking they will play with it. Nothing ... I am uncertain what that spray is supposed to do other than smell good ... no reaction.
The only reaction is from our kids who loved the concept of the name, the packaging, and the fact that it was full of buds. We all did get giggles from that but the cats ... not so much?
Bought this for my kitty a few months ago. Neat idea however, there were quite a few hard wood bits in there that could be a potential choking hazard for your kitty. I had to use the sifter. Wish I could upload pictures on here but there's no option for that . Would appreciate better quality control.

My cats went nuts over this! They came in a jar with full cut clumps of dried catnip flowers. The only thing is that the flowers are attached to a hard stem but if you just use your fingers to push the flowers down the stem to fall off, then you can fill up any toys without the hard stem poking at everything. The packaging is fun and the cats are all over this stuff.
And so proud of himself.

Sophia is in love with this blend! I make tea then it in a glass jar in the fridge. At "supper" which is her dry kibble & tea mix she licks the bowl. Let me state how persnickety this Russian Blue Hair is.... No canned food, she's suspicious of everything new, doesn't come near people plates of food, sniffs fish & looks at you like you've gone mad if you expect her to consume it. It helps her kidney issues as well, pain relief and sleep aid. Sophia is eight & a rescue. This canister lasts a long time. Your kitteh will love you for it!
My cats absolutely love this catnip! All I have to is open the container and they are all over me. Works great to refill cat toys as well as spread over cat scratchers. Highly recommend!
But my cat won't go near it. For some reason the smell is off putting to her. Can't say it's the 's fault because most cats seem to like it-- ?

I originally purchased this from a pet on sale and couldn't find it anywhere but did find here on Amazon. Same great product, good amount of catnip and container is great. My cat loves it- it's her kitty weed and she gets a little for a treat on her scratch box and she loves it rubbed on her. I also bought the sticks which she loves also.
