All SmarterPaw products use natural, pet-safe ingredients — no additives, no artificial anything. Catnip and silvervine are safe for cats; Juananip is safe for dogs. Always supervise pets during play and consult your vet if your pet has specific health conditions.
Not every pet responds the same way. About 50–75% of cats are genetically wired to react to catnip, and kittens under 6 months rarely respond at all. For dogs, some simply aren't as reactive as others. Try squeezing or crumbling the product to release more scent — or try a different blend.
For loose catnip or Juananip, sprinkle a small pinch on a toy, scratching post, or play area. For refillable toys, open the side pocket, add a pinch of your preferred blend, and close it up. Refresh whenever your pet loses interest.
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place — the freezer works great for preserving potency. If your product has lost its scent, it's time to replace it.
